Welcome to the Bellhop’s Digital Tabletop where Sean shares his initial thoughts on Blood Bowl 3 on PC. We were lucky enough to get to check out the early closed beta of this digital version of the popular Games Workshop board game of fantasy football, Blood Bowl.
This PC version of Blood Bowl is based on the Blood Bowl Second Season board game from Games Workshop and uses the rules from this latest edition of Blood Bowl.
A First Look at Blood Bowl 3:
Funnier, bloodier, and more spectacular than ever, Blood Bowl 3 will be a hit with fans of the universe and strategy games alike. At launch, the game will include 12 teams’ each with their own pitch and cheerleaders, Campaign and Multiplayer modes, and more customization options than a Blood Bowl game has ever received before.
Blood Bowl 3 will be available in early access on PC in September 21.
The full release is scheduled for February 22 on PC, PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Steam, and Nintendo Switch™.
I have been a big fan of Blood Bowl since the second edition came out with the polystyrene “astrogranite” turf and full set of orc and human miniatures.
Though I haven’t really kept up with the game, Sean has been obsessed with the various digital versions that have been released over the years, including both Blood Bowl and Blood Bowl 2, so it’s interesting to see his take on this newest edition.
