This week we discuss a topic from Sean Hamilton who writes:

Not exactly a question, but I feel like it’s a point that should be addressed. The importance of different ‘weights’ of games. A discussion on how it can be useful to have a light game at the start of the night when you might be waiting for people to show up, and a light game after a heavy game just to recover. I don’t know if you could get a full episode out of it, but it might be a valid point to bring up anyways.

Board Game Geek definition of weight.
Race for the Galaxy, our perfect medium weight game.
Masters of the Universe Roleplaying Game review.
Russian Railroads a near perfect rulebook.
Anachrony seems way heavier than it is.
Red 7 takes a few plays to grok.
Power Grid, math the game.
