—Ask The Bellhop—

Today we are talking about the best free ways to play board games online that don’t require you to download anything to play.

This topic comes from Sigurd Langseth who coomented on our The Table Sat Empty article all about Board Game Arena.

They wrote “You should do one of these for Yucata and Boiteajeux too, and do a comparison after doing so.”

In addition we have had multiple people ask us about digital gaming due to most of us not being able to get together with our regular gaming groups at this time.

  1. About Board Game Arena and marking a player as not wanted. It is possible. Go to the player page and click thumbs down. Then BGA says:
“You are about to give a red thumb.

If you confirm, BGA will make sure you don’t play at the same table again. This player won’t be able to send you a message (or speak as a spectator at your table).”

So it is, indeed, possible to avoid certain players in BGA.

    1. Hey Juho!

Thanks for the heads up. So far I haven’t had to use this option and thus haven’t gone looking for it. I’m glad to know it’s there. We called this out on last night’s live show.

      Thanks,
      Moe T.
