Stuck at home? Here is a list of free tabletop games that you can either play digitally or Print and Play to keep you busy during Coronavirus lockdown.
To help encourage folks to stay at home and play at home, and to help combat the continent-wide case of cabin fever that we’ve got brewing up, many publishers and game designers have started offering free games online.
From board games and card games to miniature games, from indie to mainstream, from expansions to stand alone games, this list has a bit of everything — aka any tabletop gamer should be able to find SOMETHING to help keep them occupied while social distancing.
I think print and play board games and free apps are a pretty cool way to help support fans, and our favourite hobby, during these exceptional times.
I have been spotting these tabletop gaming freebies all over the web, on Facebook pages, on Twitter, on Board Game Geek, you name it, and I thought it might be helpful to round them all up in one place.
This list is a work in progress. I will be updating it as I continue to find more games available for free (Last updated July 6th).
If you’ve spotted a free to play board game, card game or other tabletop goodies that I’ve missed please let me know.
I’ve also made a list of over 50 free roleplaying games that are available for free right now.
If you’re looking for sites online that allow you to play digital versions of boardgames for free, check out this article where I compare and review three of the most popular online tabletop gaming sites.
