Time for another giveaway! This time it’s for a digital game with a dungeon crawling theme that could have easily been a board game.
We are offering you a chance to win one of two Steam codes for copy of Guild of Dungeoneering Ultimate Edition, a very cool roguelike dungeon builder that is doing things a bit differently from other digital card games.
WHY YOU WANT IT
Guild of Dungeoneering Ultimate Edition is a fun romp of a roguelike deckbuilder where you’re not only improving your own deck, but building your guildhall, and even building the dungeons themselves in a very old school dungeon pencil sketch aesthetic as you drop down pieces of dungeon, monsters and the loot you’ll have to collect and deal with on your way.
The soundtrack is light and a nice distraction from the slaughter you’re sending the dungeoneers into, and the bard telling tales of adventure after each addition or run is a fun aspect, and able to be turned off if it got repetitive.
As you’d expect from a roguelike it’s tough enough that you’re not just barrelling through one dungeon after another and you need to think about your progress and plan how much scrounging to do with what dungeoneer before sending them off to meet their maker, umm I mean the boss fight.
