Some of my all-time favourite board games are abstract strategy games. I love board games that are simple to learn but difficult to master. Reef is one of these games.

Take a look inside the box for Reef by Emerson Matsuuchi. Reef is an abstract strategy board game for up to four players about building a coral reef. This boardgame features chunky plastic reef pieces that you stack and use to build a three-dimensional coral reef.


Reef was published in Canada by Next Move Games in 2018 and is considered by many to be a follow-up to Azul from the same publisher. [ READ MORE ]
