October 26, 2020 by Moe T. 2 Comments

As Halloween fast approaches I thought it would be a good time to talk about Horror board games and spooky boardgames great for a horror-themed game night.

This topic is inspired by Windsor local Sebastian Gaspar Woods who, earlier this year, won Best Short Script at the Underground Indie Film Festival for his horror/romance ghost story 'Hold Me Close'.
Sebastian writes:
As of 2020, what do you consider the best horror games? [ READ MORE ]

The Best Two Player Cooperative Games – Ask The Bellhop

December 7, 2019 by Moe T. 6 Comments

Cooperative games are becoming more popular and are actually pretty common now a days. What is hard to find is a great two-player cooperative game. Even harder to find is a cooperative game that is two-player only.

Playing by yourself, solo tabletop gaming – Ask The Bellhop

October 20, 2018 by Moe T. 4 Comments

Phil Vecchione, over on the Misdirected Mark Slack channel asks,

Do you have any recommendations for solo board/card games?
Thanks for the question, Phil.
Those of you who are regulars here on the Bellhop's blog may recognize this name. Yes, this is the same Phil Vecchione who wrote the book Never Unprepared, which I just re-reviewed a couple of days ago. It's also the same Phil Vecchione that we will be interviewing on Thursday (Oct 25th at 8:30) on Twitch about his new RPG Ashcan: Hydro Hacker Operatives or H2O.
