Check out what you get in the Tales from the Loop board game from Free League Publishing. In this unboxing I take a look at the retail version of the Tales from the Loop boardgame.
You get to see the box insert, the cool minis, lots of cards and more, all designed to let you play in an 80s that never was. This is a board game based on the Tales from the Loop RPG, which is also from Free League.
Disclosure: Thank you Free League for sending us a copy of this game to check out.
Inside Tales from the Loop The Board Game:
In the Tales From the Loop The Board Game, you take the roles of local kids and play cooperatively to investigate whatever phenomena that threaten the islands (or perhaps just the local video store), and hopefully stop them.
Each day starts at school, but as soon as the bell rings you can use whatever time you have before dinner and homework to go exploring!
Player actions are integrated, meaning there’s no downtime as you wait for others taking their turn. It also makes cooperating with your fellow players dynamic as you can react to things that happen in a turn and don’t have to plan it all out from the start.
As you can see in the video, as a long time Tales from the Loop fan I had high hopes for this board game. Find out how that turned out in my Tales from the Loop the Boardgame review.
