Unboxing: The Crew the Quest for Planet Nine, a multiple award winning cooperative trick taking game

A look at what you get in the box for the cooperative card game, The Crew. This is a trick-taking game for two to four players that is split into fifty unique missions.

Each game of The Crew takes under half an hour but you are going to want to play this board game more than once in a row!

What do you get with a copy of The Crew from Kosmos?

From the publisher:

Astronauts wanted! Scientists say there is a mysterious ninth planet located at the edge of our solar system. But despite all of their efforts, so far they have been unable to provide substantial evidence of its existence. Join this exciting space adventure to find out if the theories are just science fiction or if you will discover Planet Nine.

In this card game, you need to complete 50 different missions as you travel across the solar system. But you will only succeed if you can work together as a team.
To master the challenges and achieve your mission, communication will be essential — but in space, things can be more challenging than expected …

Co-operative strategy game- win or lose together.
A new twist on classic trick-taking card games.
The game spans 50 different missions across the solar system, each with a unique win condition.
Uses common card game mechanics like tricks and following suit.
Increasing difficulty as the game progresses, making it a good choice for players of all skill levels.

I am a big fan of trick-taking games in general and I’m really excited to get The Crew to the table. Check out my The Fox in the Forest Duet review for a look at another cooperative trick-taking game. I would also love to hear about your favourite trick-taking game in the comments below!
