A look at what you get in the box for the card-driven board game Unfair from Good Games Publishing. This is a game where players compete to build the best theme park by any means necessary, which means things can get downright nasty and well, unfair.
Unfair is a more cutthroat, more punishing, version of Funfair. Not only will players be stabbing each other in the back more often, but the events in the second half of the game will also wreak havoc with their established plans.
Disclosure: Good Games Publishing was cool enough to send me a review copy of this game.
What do you get with a copy of Unfair, the theme park building board game from Good Games Publishing?
Build the best theme park.
Whatever it takes.
Mix your favourite themes from Pirate, Robot, Vampire, Jungle, Ninja and Gangster. Build attractions and upgrade them to match blueprints, stack up towering rides, or simply make the most cash.
Watch out though – your competitors may pay off the safety inspectors to close your rides or hire hooligans to vandalise your park! How will you get revenge?
Whatever happens, it’s bound to be…
Mid-weight strategy game with strategic gameplay and unparalleled replayability.
Great for couples and regular game groups.
Combinational engine and tableau building with player interaction.
Multiple play modes – mix up to 6 themes for over 20 variant subgames in the 1 box.
Be sure to also check out my review of Funfair a much lighter game about building theme parks. It’s a great gateway to this series of theme park building games and expansions from Good Games Publishing.
